The price was all appealing and quite honestly it just had to be. There is simply no other choice because of the following reasons: it is perhaps the most (what is the only word I could possibly use here… ) ‘cumbersomely ‘ located hotel this side of the Mississippi, it’s far too overly spacious for the smaller amount of patronage it appeared to tend to, and the main fact that the location is some town in the middle of East-Jesus nowhere where the biggest ‘attraction’, quite literally, is an early closing Waffle House. So my friends, if your hungry or plan on consuming anything, this includes soda or snacks, arrive early or at a time when a gas station or that almighty Waffle House is open-otherwise, ‘you just ain’t eatin’. It’s gonna be ‘water time’! I remember the owner, I believe, checked me in. He really was a seemingly nice enough fellow, but was just a little too informative or shall I say opinionated regarding his views of some sort of same-sex altercation that apparently occurred the previous evening. Why this was even told to me in such incredible detail and in such a light that was rather less favorable to the couple in question-one only knows? However, since I am absolutely undetectable in my own sexual preferences; he might want to exercise a little bit of discretion in whom you tell these stories too, because, quite honestly man, it is 2022 and you never can be too sure who your talkin too’. Are you really that surprised? Anyway, other than the aforementioned awkward small talk while he checked me in with the ‘Dateline’ conclusion that we just couldn’t seem to reach fast enough; I’ll admit my overall experience was rather pleasant. One quick thing I found so very interesting (being a frequent traveler myself) was how this establishment had a pretty good amount of guests there when I arrived and you could clearly see this by the amount of vehicles dedicatedly parked at this one single building (or hotel, sorry.

The location was perfect. The gentleman that checked me in at 10:30 PM when I arrived, went out of his way to accommodate me. He was polite, friendly and very professional. The three staff members I encountered were polite and most helpful. The room was clean, comfortable and welcoming. The amenities offered were superb. The “dining” area was closed, but the night person came and put on the lights and showed me how to get hot water for my tea. This is the first time I have come across a coffee maker like this and I was at a loss.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very helpful, my husband was having trouble connecting his gaming console to the WiFi and the guy working the front desk came to the room to check that the WiFi was working properly and when he couldn’t figure out why it couldn’t connect, he allowed us to connect to the staff WiFi. Everyone seemed very friendly and accommodating.

Lindsay

The people at front desk and who cleaned the room were very courteous and ready to address any questions about the room I may have. A good breakfast was also available. The air conditioner and wifi was spot on. The small fridge and microwave worked very well.

This facility has some age on it but is very well kept. When the hair dryer did not work, the manager himself showed up to replace it. That breakfast was better than most inexpensive choices. We were very satisfied with our stay.
